This session will introduce you to the predicament when a plan becomes abandoned and the tools available from the Department of Labor and Internal Revenue Service. The speakers will review the different resources and provide helpful information about the process these plans can use.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify resources from the DOL and IRS that are available for abandoned plan situations.
- Determine what happens during the abandoned plan process.
- Identify situations when a plan may be in trouble and could be leading to become abandoned….and what information to provide!
