GOV2008. Uniform Guidance From a Regulator Perspective



Federal agencies regularly review single audits to ensure that the audits are of a high quality and can be relied on as part of an effective awardee monitoring program. This session will provide a regulator's viewpoint on: (1)  the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on single audits,  (2) quality control and desk reviews and common trends that are being found, and (3) federal oversight activities of COVID-19 funding. Attendees will also learn best practices for auditors that are being reviewed by a federal agency.
