Frank L. Kurre is a Managing Director and Global Account Management Leader at Protiviti Inc.  Frank also serves as the Global Leader for the firm's Higher Education & Not-for-Profit practice. Prior to joining Protiviti, Frank served for many years as the National Managing Partner of a global accounting firm's Not-for-Profit Practice (2004-2013). Frank has provided audit and consulting services to over two hundred not-for-profit organizations over his 36-year career. He has done extensive speaking and writing in conjunction with many professional associations including the AICPA, AGB, NACUBO and EACUBO.

Frank is a deacon of the Catholic Church for the Diocese of Rockville Centre. Over his career he has served many Catholic archdioceses and dioceses including the Archdioceses of Newark, Philadelphia, Boston and Hartford as well as the dioceses of Rockville Centre, Brooklyn, Bridgeport and Paterson. He has also served the USCCB and many other Catholic organizations.

Based in New York and a Long Island resident, Frank works with the firm's clients and account teams in leading Protiviti's account management program and helping drive business development in the firm's accounts. Frank's focus includes expanding the firm's deep relationships globally and working with Protiviti's CEO on projects of strategic importance to the firm.

Since joining Protiviti in 2018, Frank brings over 36 years of experience providing consulting solutions in audit, technology, business process, controls, analytics, risk, compliance and strategy. His areas of expertise include board governance, leadership development, enterprise risk management, budget reviews, treasury consulting, financial reporting, internal audit, forensic auditing, and strategic planning. Frank has deep experience advising boards, audit committee and management teams on internal control weaknesses and related remediation.

Most recently, Frank served as Managing Partner of a global accounting firm's U.S. Northeast region, the largest market territory of the firm, and as managing partner of Metro New York (2013-2018). Frank also served from 2012 to 2018 as an elected member of that firm's Partnership Board, the firm's governing body, and chaired various committees of the board focused on governance, mergers and acquisitions, and global strategy. Prior to joining that firm nineteen years ago, Frank was a Worldwide Partner at Arthur Andersen LLP.

Frank has extensive experience serving many not-for-profit and healthcare institutions as well as Fortune 1000, Russell 1000 and Russell 2000 public companies. Serving on the Board of Directors of a $ 1.8 billion private company and as chairman of the audit and compliance committee of a $ 3 billion healthcare system have given Frank a unique perspective in serving clients with internal control, process and technology challenges.
