Joselin R Martin, CPA, CGMA, CCIFP is CEO of True North CFO, where she works with business leaders to strategically evolve the organization from its current state to the desired future company, financially and operationally.

Joselin started her career in her family construction company working with the bookkeeper. After graduating from Brown University, she worked as an auditor in a major accounting firm, lectured undergraduates on microeconomics, and spent over 20 years in the construction industry, retiring as CFO for a specialty construction subcontractor. Founding True North CFO is her opportunity to share her accumulated experience to help other companies achieve their goals.

Joselin is active in the Maryland Association for CPAs, serving two terms on the board and has been on the Business & Industry committee for the past 13 years. She was also an early supporter of the joint venture that led to the CGMA designation. She went on to serve on the AICPA Business and Industry Committee, and is a past chair of the AICPA America Regional Advisory Board. She was recognized as a 2019 MACPA/AICPA Experienced Women to Watch.

When not working with other businesses and teaching, Joselin enjoys running (and especially helping others train for their first run) and traveling with her husband.
