Among his responsibilities at the FASB, Jeff Mechanick oversees all activities involving NFPs and private companies, chairs the FASB's NFP Advisory Committee, and oversees support for the Private Company Council. He was previously the CFO of Planned Parenthood Federation of America and a Senior Audit Manager with KPMG. He is a member of the Technical Advisory Group of the #IFR4NPO initiative and also a part-time lecturer in Columbia University's Nonprofit Management MS Degree Program.
