Chris Scheer is the Chief Financial Officer of Kampgrounds of America, Inc. (KOA), a privately held outdoor hospitality company based in Billings, Montana. Formed in 1962, KOA is the world's largest system of private RV campgrounds with 490 franchised and 40 company owned locations across North America. KOA also owns and operates Terramor Outdoor Resorts, a boutique glamping brand, with a flagship property in Maine. Chris joined KOA in 2020 after 16 years in the hotel industry, serving as CFO for Stout Street Hospitality (Magnolia Hotels) and SVP Real Estate Finance & Asset Management for Sage Hospitality. Chris is a Certified Public Accountant with public accounting experience in the audit/assurance practice at BDO/ACM in Denver, CO.

Chris earned his B.S. degree in Business Management & Accounting from Washington & Lee University's Williams School of Commerce, Economics and Politics.
