                              Chester Polson is a senior financial economist in the Economic Analysis Section in FDIC's Division of Insurance and Research. He has been with the FDIC since 2015. He supports identification of emerging systemic risks in the U.S. macroeconomy that could threaten the financial system and the deposit insurance fund, and presents findings to senior stakeholders of the FDIC. Dr. Polson earned both his doctorate and master's degrees in economics from The University of Texas at Austin.
