Daniel serves in the Professional Standards Group of Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP where he participates in leading and equipping the firm's assurance services practice by assisting with identifying priorities and developing implementation plans for strategic initiatives of the assurance practice. He is also a technical resource for the firm on research and consultation matters involving accounting and auditing issues, reviews IFRS and U.S. GAAP reports, provides guidance to the assurance practice in the application of new pronouncements, and leads several of the firm's assurance services learning programs. Prior to joining the Professional Standards Group, he gained experience in the firm's High Point office in several industries including manufacturing and distribution, furniture, service organizations, and with various other internationally and closely held clients.

Daniel is active in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, including serving as a previous member of the PCPS Technical Issues Committee and current member of the NAAATS Conference Planning Committee.
