Dean is a Partner/Senior Vice President in MDD Forensic Accountants' Calgary office, where he specializes in providing disputes analysis, quantification of economic losses, valuations, forensic accounting and litigation support work.

Dean's professional practice focuses on matters arising from a wide range of disputes which include breach of contract, shareholder disputes, matrimonial disputes, misrepresentation / negligence (and other civil torts), and expropriations.  Dean work includes assignments in a broad spectrum of industries such as oil and gas, power generation and distribution, agriculture, commercial real-estate, retail, wholesale, construction, hotels and resorts, restaurants, pharmaceuticals, financial services and manufacturing.  

Dean regularly conducts seminars and workshops on the topics of business valuation, quantification of economic losses, guideline income calculations, and financial statement preparation and accounting.
