Jim is a managing director with FORVIS' Professional Standards Group. In this role, he develops guidance on emerging standards related to audits of public and private business entities, develops and delivers training to the firm's assurance practice, develops policies on audit and accounting matters, and provides technical consultation assistance to engagement teams across the firm on higher risk accounting and auditing transactions.

Jim earned his bachelor of business administration in accounting and his master's in professional accounting from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. He resides in Dallas.
