David Pesce is a 1986 Graduate of Lafayette College in Easton, PA with a B.S. in Mathematics. Upon graduation he began his surety career and has held various underwriting and senior management positions with a number of major surety companies.David is currently Assistant Vice President and Head of Business Development for Hartford Bond and is a member of the Bond Leadership Team focusing on strategy, process improvement, and marketing. David currently holds the CCIFP designation. He has served as President of the Florida Surety Association where in 1995 he was awarded the Surety Information Office Silver Award for excellence in Surety Bond Promotion. He is a past chairman of the National Association of Independent Sureties, is currently a Board Member of The Institute for Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals (ICCIFP) and is a member of AGC,CFMA, Surety Association of America, an associate member of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers. He speaks frequently on various surety related issues to contractors, architects, lawyers, bankers, and accountants associated with the construction Industry.
