Katie Gleason, CPA. Katie is a Deputy State Auditor with the North Carolina Office of the State Auditor. Katie is responsible for overseeing the audit of the State of North Carolina's financial statements (CAFR) and the Single Audit for the State of North Carolina.
Katie has worked with the NC Office of the State Auditor for 16+ years. All of this time has been spent in the financial audit division. She is an active member of the NC Association of CPAs, and participates on the Government Accounting and Auditing Committee. For the past 3 years, Katie has organized training opportunities for CPA firms auditing local units of government in the state of NC.
Katie has been a CPA for over 16 years, and received the AICPA Advanced Single Audit certification in 2018.
Katie lives in Raleigh, NC with her husband Craig and mini schnauzer, JB.
